The Electrical Intern will support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of all electrical systems and equipment at the Menengai Geothermal Power Plant. Working under the supervision of the Electrical Engineer, the Intern will gain practical exposure to generators, transformers, switchgear (LV, MV, HV), protection systems, motors, UPS systems, battery systems, and auxiliary plant equipment. The role contributes to maintaining high plant availability, minimizing parasitic load, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining full compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Intern will operate within Globeleq’s HSESS framework and in compliance with PPA, PISSA, LTSA, and O&M contractual requirements.
